My name is Jacob Ciotti. I just completed my first year of college at Texas State University and am now planning to study abroad in Italy and will use this blog as a record of my experiences while I will be away. My paternal side of the family is Italian-American and my great-grandfather immigrated here from Italy in 1920. I have taken 2 college level courses in Italian language at Texas State and enjoy the culture. I am looking forward to spending a part of my life surrounded by it.
