Even though I have visited many art museums, I still found my time at the Uffizi very intriguing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about many of the works of art in the gallery. We learned about the meanings and backstories of most of the famous paintings. Hearing the story of a piece of art definitely makes it interesting to me. Many of the paintings in the Uffizi were either commissioned or owned by the Medici family. I find it fascinating that they would have so many meanings and connections in their artwork collections.
