We have done some community service work here, and with that and also through my interaction and observation of the people here, I can tell they have a sense of community because of the history and culture that links them. I can tell that it is something special to be able to be a part of it. I have also learned a few new recipes and have enjoyed cooking up some dishes. Being here has a different sense because everyone has their windows open, and I can feel like I can hear the whole city, yet not to the point of it being irritating. That is one of the aspects of living here that I get to enjoy all the time.
