I went to the Mercato Centrale for lunch, and was surprised by the amount of food vendors and restaurants they have. It is like a food court and farmers market in one area. I really enjoyed walking around the market and definitely will visit frequently. Outside the building there are plenty of stalls that sell goods such as shirts, leather products, and other accessories. It is far from my apartment but it is also the best place for grocery shopping. I try to speak to the locals in Italian whenever I can but sometimes it is difficult to communicate without misunderstanding.
